The Bones of Eao add to the mobility and agility capabilities of any Hunter subclass. The exotic perk, Not Bound By Law, extends the Hunters abilities by adding yet another jump. Therefore Double Jump is upgraded to a Triple Jump with this exotic and Triple Jump is upgraded to a Quadruple Jump. This allows your Guardian to bound over the field of play with rapidity that also allow for minute adjustments and quick reactions. This exotic is suitable for both PVP and PVE as it simply boosts the way your Hunter moves. You can gain new heights with these boots and leap ever further over your enemies. In regards to the Crucible, if you master it right, you could use this exotic to leap right up to your enemy or even escape them with a series of fleeting motions that make you a difficult individual to target. This exotic is definitely worthwhile, no matter what subclass you utilise.
These boots have an aesthetic that many people have come to love and that is the strategic addition of Ahamkara bones into the very fabric of the exotic. The placement of the bones seems to be reminiscent of their actual location on an Ahamkara, aka they are two different segments of the bones that comprise the knee of the Space Dragons. The almost bleached white colour of the skeletal features showcase something that is supposed to be dead but by the very nature of the Ahamkara bones as well as the flavour text, it appears that the Ahamkara are not willing to fade into history. Coupled with this, the apparent vertebrae or spines that are attached to the left side of the leg enhance the feeling and look of malevolence and badassery.
How to Acquire it?
The Bones of Eao can be gained from an exotic boot engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
