Destiny Exotic Reviews

Exotic Review : Crest of Alpha Lupi

You’ve heard every last tale of the wolf by now. None of them are true. You are the wolf.

This exotic is a subclass neutral chestpiece that is perfect for most teammate based activity. The exotic perk, Keeper of the Pack allows you to revive fallen teammates and be revived faster. On top of this, Supers generate an additional orb. The Crest of Alpha Lupi functions quite well in higher level PVE activities such as Nightfall Strikes or high level Prison of Elders due to the need to get your teammates as well as yourself back in the game as soon as possible in order to have the best chance of success. In a PVP landscape, this chestpiece has almost no utility due to most Crucible game modes not having teammate induced respawns. However if you wish to enter into PVP modes such as Trials of Osiris or Skirmish, it may be prudent to equip this exotic as the speed at which you revive a teammate can very much be the determining factor between victory and defeat.

The Crest of Alpha Lupi is quite a beautiful chestpiece with the ornateness of its design. It is clear that is was made for a Guardian of a higher status and class very possibly, a Guardian named Alpha Lupi. The base of the chestpiece appears to be composed of silver and gold and is beautifully wrought with designs of vines and flowers. The focal point of the Crest is a golden metallic Wolf head that is in the middle of the exotic. The Wolf is a signature top of the chain predator who waits for the right time to strike and hits hard and without mercy. This chestpiece while being beautifully designed also appears to be of thinner and flexible construction to allow for maximum speed and evasiveness.

How to Acquire it?
The Crest of Alpha Lupi can be gained from an exotic chest engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
