The equations balance thus: you are diminished, and I am exalted. You are broken, and I am made strong.
These Warlock gauntlets are one of the greatest exotics in the arsenal of the Space Wizard. They serve the purpose of turning your already devastating Scatter Grenades into homing points of death. The exotic perk, Scatter Charge, enables tracking for your Scatter Grenades as well as providing you with an additional Scatter Grenade charge. These gauntlets fix the main issue with Scatter Grenades and that is that if a target is missed or moves out of the way, the grenade just dissipates without doing any or little damage. Throw tracking into the mix though and your grenades will find and kill your marks much more easily. This exotic is viable for both PVP and PVE due the potential for high damage output and precision pinpointing. In PVP, this exotic makes your Scatter Grenade viable for not only closing down areas or preventing enemy Guardians from assaulting a position but the tracking ensures that they might in fact be backpedalling to avoid the trackers. However unless the target guardian is already damaged, one or two of the tracking submunitions may not be able to eliminate them. Hence it may be prudent to follow it up with some extra bullets just to finish them off.
The look of the Nothing Manacles is quite simple. An aura of purple light beginning at the wrist and ending mid-forearm. The purple is of a lighter hue and seems to match really well with both lighter armour shaders as well as the darker ones. The light streaming from the gauntlets is quite obviously one of the physical manifestations of the Void power.
How to Acquire it?
The Nothing Manacles can be gained from an exotic gauntlet engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
