Exotic Review : An Insurmountable Skullfort

BRAINVAULT Sigma-ACTIUM-IX Cranial Dreadnought (Invincible Type)

Performance
An Insurmountable Skullfort. Quite an intimidating name for an exotic that for the most part provides you with a bonus to your health. With the exotic perk, Improved Transfusion, Kills with Storm Fist immediately trigger health regeneration. On top of this, that perk provides you with an additional melee charge and allows you to respawn with fully charged melee energy, This exotic is designed for the up close and personal Striker Titan and as such provides boosts and boons that revolve around a Titans physical attack. It can be used with much success in the Crucible, where the constantly charging melee ability upon your revival will allow you to stay alive for a bit longer. Also adding to the benefits is the health regeneration upon a successful kill with Storm Fist, which will most likely be a fair few of them due to Storm Fist being an intensely powerful melee attack, which can cause you to recover in a rapid fashion and get back into the fight. Further compounding this is the additional melee charge which can provide you with the means to do it all over again.

Aesthetic
This exotic has a mysterious and alien feel to it that is hard to understand. The overall design of the Skullfort is blocky and standard, yet it still draws interest. Of course the main focus is the shifting symbols and lights on the front of the faceplate which based on the flavour text, could be a visual reflection of brainwaves and the thoughts going through your Guardians head, much like Daft Punks helmets. However the longer you maintain focus on the faceplate, the more hostile it seems to look so it definitely has some appeal on a curiousity level but as for brilliant and marvellous features it is quite bare.

How to Acquire it?
The Insurmountable Skullfort can be gained from an exotic helmet engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
