What is the answer when the question is extinction?
The weapons foundry responsible for this exotic is shrouded in mystery. No one knows who or what Nadir is or better yet, where they came from. Maybe its name is some cruel joke on their part, with Nadir meaning the most unsuccessful point in any situation. Perhaps Nadir has had many attempts and failed many times. However that does not seem to matter next to a weapon as powerful as Nemesis Star
Nemesis Star is a middle to high rate of fire machine gun that will find a home in both PVP and PVE if it is wielded with a skilled hand. It holds two signature exotic perks the first being, Extinction Cycle, which fires the initial burst of this weapon at a significantly faster rate on trigger pull. This means that the first few bullets of Nemesis Star’s magazine are able to deal a large amount of damage within a short time which is great for encounters where you need to retreat quickly or even in the Crucible in order to get a jump on your opponent. This perk is activated every time you press the trigger so you do not need to reload every time in order to get the rate of fire bonus which is just delightful. Nemesis Star’s second exotic perk is known as Strange Gravity which provides boosts to range and accuracy as your rate of fire decreases. This perk is the perfect compliment to Extinction Cycle and allows this exotic heavy to compensate for the lack of a high rate of fire by ensuring that each one of your shots hits your target.
The Nemesis Star is the epitome of sleek and stylish featuring an almost matte combination of yellow and black that coats the gun. It appears to have two ammo barrels that are attached which allows for a higher magazine capacity. Coupled with this the scope is relatively simplistic but moulds with the body of the machine gun in a really nice way.
How to Acquire it?
The Nemesis Star can be gained from an exotic heavy engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
