Exotic Review : Dunemarchers

Whether on solid rock or shifting sand dune, the inexorable Sand Eaters never slow their pace.

The Dunemarchers are a general Titan exotic that provides the most stoic Guardians a bit of extra speed. This means that you can run a high armour build while still maintaining incredible agility. The exotic perk, Speed Demon increases sprint speed while increasing movement speed while aiming down sights with a weapon. On top of this your Titan will be granted a tighter turn radius while sprinting. It is all about that speed. In the Crucible, these boots will make your Titan even more competitively viable no matter what subclass you choose to utilise, as the additional boost to speed causes you to evade more and be harder to hit. However be careful as the tighter turn radius can take some getting used to. Coupled with increased movement speed while aiming, you can effectively deal huge amounts of damage and be gone before anyone realised what had happened. The benefits are pretty similar in PVE, that is if you value speed. If speed isn’t your issue or your focus then stay away from this exotic.

Like a lot of Titan exotics, the Dunemarchers don’t have a lot going for them aesthetically. They are bulky  and capture the essence of the Titan quite aptly despite taking motivation in design from the Cabal. The many interlocking hinges and components of the boots and leg pieces presumably allow for optimal movement while still being efficient as heavy armour.

How to Acquire it?

The Dunemarchers can be gained from an exotic boot engram or purchasing it from Xur if you are lucky enough for him to have it in his inventory.
