‘Paladins : Champions Of The Realm’ Is Already Extremely Popular, Despite Not Being Fully Released Yet!

You may or may not have heard talk of a new game that has hit a very popular note with many gamers all around the world – known as Paladins : Champions of the Realm. This game is essentially a MOBA but with some elements of a shooter, as you pick your particular champion and battle it out for supremacy and glory.

Paladins is already extremely popular in the gaming sphere, having more than five million registered players through Steam, and it hasn’t even left Early Access yet. You read that right, Paladins has not been fully released but already boasts millions of registered players that just cannot put the game down. Not only that but this new MOBA has not even been put out to console players as yet. However, Todd Harris, COO and co-founder of Hi-Rez Studios, has stated that the goal is to bring Paladins to both Playstation 4 and Xbox One later in 2017.

In that same interview with ‘alistdaily’, Todd Harris stated that they wished to continue to develop new characters, maps and game modes that will bring new players to the title, as well as to entrance and challenge older players. For the PC and Mac community, this promise is very much a reality, with constant updates and patches being released consistently and amazingly interesting characters thrown into the fray at quite a rapid rate (And all I can do is read about them because my PC isn’t powerful enough).

Recently, Hi-Rez added another champion to the mix by the name of Torvald who is a Runic Sage and like the myriad other champions, has a spree of unique and devastating abilities that can be experimented with. Despite the game still being in Early Access, the steady stream of updates and balance patches is what will serve to make the free to play Paladins a popular presence on the face of the gaming world.
