For Honor is a remarkable new game that pits Knights, Samurai and Vikings in epic battles that make the eons of history seem like a blink of an eye. Select players got a chance to hack and slash their way to victory a short while ago in the closed beta, but from February 9th to February 12th, the open beta will arrive.
Before the release of For Honor on February 14th, players will get a chance to participate in four of the five multiplayer modes, which includes Elimination, a series of best-out-of-five battles fought between two teams of four with no respawns. As well as that, players will be able to compete in Duel, a one on one battle for supremacy, Brawl and Dominion. What a perfect way to spend Valentines Day. Nine heroes will be accessible out of the full roster of 12 and presumably the coolest heroes will be left for the full release.
On top of the sheer enjoyment of tearing apart your enemies in amazingly detailed, pitched battles, you will also be able to continue the War of the Factions, with which you pledge your allegiance to either to Knights, Samurai or Vikings and attempt to lead your faction to victory in exchange for impressive rewards.
So mark your calendars because the open beta is coming to Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC in just a few short days. Prepare yourself for the struggle of a lifetime.
