Paladins: Champions of the Realm

It’s Time For ‘Paladins’ To Get Out Of The Stone Age : Meet Inara The Stone Warden

Despite Paladins: Champions of the Realm being in an open beta phase, it has not stopped them from releasing a heap of new and interesting Champions into the mix. The latest one, revealed during a teaser trailer on the main Youtube page of the game showcases our latest Champion: Inara the Stone Warden.

Classed as a front line warrior, Inara holds the ability to alter the shape of the battlefield herself with her mastery over rock and earth. Her main method of attack is through the firing of stone projectiles over a significant distance, the downside is that this attack can be quite slow and cumbersome, leaving her vulnerable.

One of the most exciting things about Inara is her ability to create rising rock walls to create cover for herself and her allies. The rock wall is no joke, able to block off doorways and hallways with ease!

Inara’s ultimate has to be one of the most dramatic that I have seen. With a fierce battle-cry, she launches her staff violently towards the enemy, dealing a decent amount of damage and stunning nearby enemy Champions with an area of effect blast. This leaves them open to being damaged by allied Champions, not to mention yourself. Can’t fight back if they are stunned!

Inara the Stone Warden will be arriving at Paladins with the release of the OB45 Patch which should not be too far away. Of course, with this new Champion comes a whole new batch of collectable cards as well as numerous changes for the other assorted Champions.
