Paladins: Champions of the Realm

‘Paladins’ Needs Some Order – Meet Lex The Hand Of Justice

Another day, another stream, another Champion reveal. Hi-Rez Studios, earlier today unveiled their latest patch to be coming to Paladins: Champions of the Realm. In it, contained much of the usual stuff – character balances, map changes, character tweaks, but more importantly the arrival of another Champion –  Lex, the Hand of Justice.

While he appears to be your general soldier type, he utilises his twin Magnums to dish out heavy damage to any and all targets who have run from the law. His abilities include a rapid fire of his hand cannons that lock on to the closest target and deal damage without needing to aim, and the way I have seen some people play, they need this.

On top of this, there is a combat slide that will serve as a manoeuvre to speed Lex up, as well as to make it harder for him to be targeted. It doesn’t just look really cool, but it is so effective as a getaway because you are going lower and faster forward at the same time. Very hard to hit that moving target.

The most exciting things about Lex is his ultimate, known as The Law. This move sends a blast of energy forward, which executes any and all foes in its path that are under 65% health. I can foresee this Ultimate to be one of the more powerful ones when OB46 goes live.

Of course, Lex, the Hand of Justice has not arrived in the realm as of yet, with PC Paladins just reaching OB45 and consoles still stuck with OB44. Xbox One and Playstation 4 still have not seen the arrival of Inara, the Stone Warden but now it is just something extra to get excited for.
