The free to play FPS shooter, Paladins has enjoyed critical acclaim over the course of its closed beta. With millions of registered and active players all around the world and a very popular esports community, Paladins has become the game of choice for many gamers.
Well, as of yesterday, Paladins has moved from a closed beta to an open beta on both Playstation 4 and Xbox One and it is still free! The way the game stands at the moment is that Paladins console is at update 47 (OB47) with many more updates to come. The PC version of Paladins is at update 49 but it shouldn’t be long until consoles catch up.
Character wise, consoles are sitting at 24 playable characters over four different playstyles – Flanker, Front Line, Damage and Support. There will be a new support by the name of Seris with OB48 and a new damage character by the name of Willo in OB49. These characters can be played on a variety of interesting and diverse maps, scattered over four game modes, Siege, Payload, PVE Challenge and Survival.
However, if that isn’t your cup of tea you can always raise 12 of your characters to level four and unlock the competitive mode, where you can fight for glory and rankings.
There is something for everyone in Paladins: Champions of the Realm and Hi-Rez Studios have worked hard to provide a great competitive gaming experience for players. So hurry up and join the realm.
