A Brand New Trial And Mantine Surfing In Pokemon UltraSun And UltraMoon

Last year Pokemon Trainers all over the world delved into the tropical adventures of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, experiencing the wonderful new story and the island trials. Well, it is time for a new story, once again set in the Alola Region, where dark, ominous forces threaten the safety of everyone and secrets of the Legendary Pokemon Necrozma will be at its heart.

Trial Of Mina

With the latest Pokemon adventure in Pokemon UltraSun and UltraMoon mere months away, more details have emerged about what trainers can expect when traipsing around the islands. The Island Trials are making a return, where Trainers must complete certain puzzles or objectives, to draw out a powerful Totem Pokemon they must defeat. The Island Trials take the traditional nature of the Alolan environment and shake up the older Pokemon Gym style progression.

While some of the Trials may be similar in PokemonUltraSun and Pokemon UltraMoon, one Trial Captain who didn’t really get a fair go in the previous game is stepping up. The next instalment will feature a brand new and exciting Trial from Mina, the really chill artist type. We had to wait a lot longer for this Trial so hopefully, it will be worth it.

Mantine Surfing

Pokemon UltraSun and UltraMoon will also feature a new minigame/travel feature in the form of Mantine surfing, which will see Trainers utilise impressive balance as they ride on the backs of the smug looking Manta rays.

Using Mantine, Trainers will be able to surf between the different islands, while completing tricks and rolls on the big ways to earn the highest score possible. There would definitely be a reward for getting the highest possible score. Yay for mini-events.

More Pokemon have decided to catch the tropical rays of the Alola region with over 400 new Pokemon to find, capture and train in order to become the very best, that no one ever was. These include the adorable Zorua who has been a favourite of mine ever since it was first revealed all those years ago. Not to mention, a special Dusk Lycanroc is available for those Trainers who wish to pre-order the game.

Pokemon UltraSun and PokemonUltraMoon will be arriving on November 17th, 2017 and will definitely be a great new adventure for Trainers to take on.
